The campus at Jahra Governate, west of Kuwait City, will serve approximately 12,000 students at Jahra Governorate. The approach for the new campus emphasizes three perspectives - of people, purpose, and the place - the interaction of which will distinguish this campus from other leading international universities. A successful campus design begins with people. It must be in concert with the cultural heritage and values of Kuwait and provide a state-of-the-art academic and university life experience while also providing the skills students need to serve the current and future workforce demands in Kuwait.

In collaboration with Perkins Eastman, we ensured that the design of this campus must be of its place, and the starting point for this is Kuwait's climate. This conceptual design for a new Technology, Business, Healthcare and Education Complex Project for the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in Kuwait is sustainable, in which it does not heavily rely on advanced and energy intensive technical measures.
