From the beginning of our collaboration, the Hassan family expressed a desire for a home that would reflect their lifestyle centered around family & friends, access to nature, and the pursuit of wellness—not just in the present, but also for the future.

 

The sprawling property accommodates an array of amenities that address these needs, including a unique home gym that blends indoor and outdoor spaces with an outdoor shower, as well as a plethora of indoor living spaces ripe for entertaining.

The design focuses on creating a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors, with an emphasis on the garden and pool as the central features. The highlight of the design is the terraced layout, which includes several threshold spaces, such as a shaded outdoor space on the lower floor, providing a variety of options for enjoying the California weather. The overall design of the villa is meant to act as a subtle backdrop, allowing the garden and pool to take center stage.
