ADAPTIVE IDENTITY
LOCATION / KITWE, ZAMBIA
SIZE / 120,000 m²
The Adaptive Identity Orphange is designed to house 200 children. Its purpose is to provide a social and nurturing environment. The orphange’s modular classrooms include operable doors to combine with other classrooms. These doors operate on 2m unitized blocks for expandability, ease of construction of local materials, and global replicability. The mission is to help those who are unfortunate. Often times, children who are parentless or born into poverty have no other means of getting an education, a warm meal, or a bed to sleep on.

The Adaptive Identity Orphanage will provide the quality of life through programmatic spaces that fosters positive social interaction, effective learning, safety, and personal growth. Moreover, this project strives to make this typology extremely replicable, yet sustainable and affordable.
